Many of us become sex educators by default, simply to address the lack of good sex info out there for ourselves and others. Coming out as a sexually-free person is important and essential. Usually we do it over and over again each time we are challenged about our rights, or want to make ourselves or others better understood.
Consistent organizing and coalition-building on sexual issues, however, takes us beyond education. If we educate long enough and creatively and resourcefully enough we become part of creating liberation movements that have their own goals and structures that live on much beyond books, training events, even our individual lives.
These connections between erotic justice, economic justice & environmental justice are self-evident. It's just a matter of finding them and articulating them. Read more about this in my Selected Writings; the Political section especially, but the Reviews and Creative stuff too. And check out the sample list of workshop and speech topics I've delivered in the past if you are interested in inviting me to present in your community.
Note: These are just samples. Any speech or workshop can be re-tooled to your specifications or invented from scratch.
